What’s on
From 10am to 12pm, the crew from EnviroEDU will be running an engaging wildlife demonstration, giving families the chance to learn about native animals up close in a safe, interactive environment.
And it’s not just animals, there’s a stack of free kids’ activities happening too, including:
Face art + airbrush tattoos by Little Glitter Shack
Sugar cookies by Sweet Creations by KC
Best part? No bookings needed — just rock up and enjoy it.
When + where
📍 Mildura Visitor Information Centre (Alfred Deakin Centre), 180–190 Deakin Avenue, Mildura (See Map Below)
🕙 10:00am–2:00pm (wildlife demo runs 10:00am–12:00pm)
💸 Free
Pro tip: it’s in the same building as Waves — take your togs!
Here’s the genius move: the Visitor Information Centre is at 180–190 Deakin Avenue, and Mildura Waves Aquatic & Leisure Centre is also listed at 180–190 Deakin Avenue — so you can roll straight from wildlife fun to a swim afterwards. Pack the togs, a towel, and make a full little family outing of it. (additional cost)

It’s local, it’s free, it’s hands-on, and it’s the kind of thing that makes school holidays feel like… well, holidays. If you’ve got kids who love animals (or adults who are secretly just as excited), this one’s a beauty.
For any last-minute details, the event contact is the Mildura Visitor Information Centre.
