About Out & About Sunraysia

Out & About Sunraysia started almost by accident.

My YouTube videos, and later this blog, began as a personal bookmark in history during the 2022/23 Mildura floods. Like many locals, I wanted to capture what was happening around our region at the time... the river, the changes, the stories, and the way the community responded.

From there, it slowly grew into something much bigger.

Today, Out & About Sunraysia has become my own little online community, where I share the places, events, stories and people that make Mildura, Sunraysia and the wider Mallee such a great part of the world.

Whether it’s a river spot, a local event, a day trip, a free camp, a pub meal, a piece of history, or just one of those hidden gems you might drive past without noticing, I enjoy getting out there and showing what’s on offer.

I use a variety of technology to film, edit and produce my videos and stories, but at the heart of it all, I still believe good storytelling is what matters most. Fancy gear can help, but it’s the people, the places and the local yarns that make content worth watching and reading.

One of the best parts of Out & About Sunraysia has been the growing community around it. I’m proud of the people who visit the website, watch the videos, leave feedback, share ideas, and suggest new places or stories to cover.
