This isn’t just another gig, it’s part of a wave of regional shows added due to overwhelming demand.
Amy isn’t flying under the radar: she’s a multi-platinum, multi-award-winning artist whose career has soared since her breakthrough. Her latest album Sunday Sadness debuted at #1 on the Australian charts, her third chart-topper after Love Monster (2018) and Cry Forever (2021).
Her catalogue includes smash hits like Adore, I Said Hi and Mess Her Up, each of which helped define Australian alt-pop over the past decade.
In recent years, she’s also expanded beyond music, picking up a TV role as a judge on Australian Idol, an achievement that came with her first Logie Award, putting her among a rare group of Aussie artists who’ve earned both ARIA and Logie honours.
What to Expect on December 20
The “Songs & Stories” tour offers a different kind of concert experience, expect Amy with just her guitar (and maybe piano), performing stripped-back versions of fan favorite's, woven together with honest, personal anecdotes behind the songs.
Given the timing and the intimacy of regional venues like Mildura Arts Centre, it’s likely to be a warm, close-up show, a moment where melodies meet memories under the gentle glow of the theatre lights.
Turning a Concert Into a Milestone
This performance isn’t just another date, it’s a celebration of Amy Shark’s journey so far. From her early breakout with “Adore,” to chart-topping albums and industry accolades, to now giving back to regional communities through touring, she keeps proving she values connection over spectacle.
For regional fans in Mildura and beyond, it’s a rare chance to see a major artist perform in an intimate setting. For Amy, it’s another stop on a tour that reflects both gratitude and artistic integrity.
