Trail of Lights closed this weekend (and Summer Sound Series postponed) – here’s the update

If you were planning a magical night out at Bruce Munro’s Trail of Lights this week, there’s a change thanks to the weather.

✅ Trail of Lights (Lock Island) will be CLOSED this:

• Thursday 29 January 2026

• Friday 30 January 2026

And if you were also heading down to Rio Vista Park for the Trail of Lights Summer Sound Series on Saturday night — that one’s been affected too.

• The next session that was due Saturday 31 January 2026 won’t go ahead

• It’ll be back on Saturday 7 February 2026 

My tip: keep an eye on the official Trail of Lights / Mildura channels for the latest updates before you head out, especially if you’ve got tickets booked.

In the meantime — maybe swap the outdoor plans for something cool and indoors, then we’ll all be back under the lights (and the tunes) next Saturday, 7 Feb.
